Dominica to streamline visitor entry through online immigration forms
Dominica is preparing to simplify the travel experience for visitors by implementing online immigration forms for embarkation and disembarkation, effective October 18. This new initiative aims to streamline the entry process, thereby improving the convenience of travellers upon their arrival on the island.
Procedure for Online Embarkation and Disembarkation:
Travellers can complete the online form by visiting here. The subsequent stages comprise the procedure:
- Website access: Complete and submit the online ED card form at any time before your travel date.
- Confirmation and QR Code: Upon submission of the form, travellers will receive a confirmation and a QR code. It is crucial to save this information on a mobile device or print it for presentation at the entry point.
- Present the Necessary Documents: Upon arrival, travellers must present their passport, confirmation, and QR code to Immigration and Customs officials.
“We are making a substantial stride towards modernising our travel processes and improving the overall visitor experience by implementing online immigration forms.” “We are confident that this initiative will streamline the process of entering Dominica and demonstrate our dedication to delivering exceptional service to our guests,” stated Marva Williams, Director of Tourism.
