Dominica’s Grand Bay Ville Housing Development nearing completion
Another testament to the transformative progress in Dominica’s housing and urban development sector is nearing completion — the Grand Bay Ville Housing Development.
Grand Bay Ville, encompassing 25 acres of beautifully planned land, is set to be a fully integrated modern community. The project includes over 100 houses, empty lots earmarked for future structures, and 10 homes scheduled for renovation. Currently, the housing units are 85 per cent complete. The remaining tasks include external painting, utility connections, road works, and landscaping.
In addition to residential units, the community will feature various amenities and communal spaces, such as the Church and Commercial Shops, which are slated for completion by the end of August 2024.
Grand Bay Ville’s construction is progressing steadily through several local contractors. As with all MMC Development Ltd. projects, the substructures and superstructures of Grand Bay Ville adhere to the highest resiliency standards. The buildings will feature reinforced concrete, shatter-proof windows, and underground utilities designed to withstand adverse weather and natural disasters.
The initiative, driven by the Citizenship by Investment Programme, marks a significant milestone in the Government of Dominica’s mission to revolutionize housing and urban development and foster lasting communities for every Dominican family.
