Bermuda Elections 2020: PLP wins 30 seats

The Bermuda Progressive Labour Party (PLP) has recorded a landslide victory over One Bermuda Alliance (OBA) in the 2020 general elections, winning 30 seats in the House of Assembly. PLP got 5 more seats from the OBA, leaving the Opposition with only 6 seats in the House

General elections called in Bermuda

The people of Bermuda will go to the polls on October 1st after the Premier called the general elections las Friday, almost two years ahead of the 2022 constitutional deadline. Incumbent Premier and Progressive Labour Party (PLP) leader David Burt said he chose the option that
